What fhe hell is this?

This is how the engine out of EX5010 was displayed for sale at Carlisle in 2011. To the casual buyer you would think it is a production unit and it is, kinda. The seller had a sign saying it was a prototype engine and it is, kinda. What you see is a Phase 2 bottom end and production top end. This engine could not have run and the buyer would have been pissed. The seller had put the production top end on the motor so it looked production so he could sell it. I knew what as going on and asked if he had the original top end and he did. I also asked about just how he got the parts which is related in another picture. He had the transmission wheels and all engine parts. I bought everything.
